Prishtina Pride is a collaboration of several non-governmental organizations and civil societies which target the LGBTQI + communities, where for the first time, they organized Prishtina Pride in October 2017. Today, partner organizations fight to achieve the acceptance and inclusion of LGBTQI + persons in the Kosovan society where traditional gender roles dominate and fight the legislative processes which do not support the fundamental rights of persons who do not conform and identify with binary and dominant social roles.

The celebration of Pride Week is done through conferences and awareness panels, cultural and artistic events, as well as informal ones that celebrate the existence of LGBTQI + persons.
