Directed by Kushtrim Koliqi and featuring Adrian Morina as the sole actor playing over 30 characters, the performance tells the extraordinary story and challenging life of the transgender woman Charlotte von Mahlsdorf from Germany, who survived both the Stasi and Nazism. The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama is based on Doug Wright's conversations with Charlotte and her autobiography published in 1992, titled “I Am My Own Wife”.
