This performance in Prishtina’s main square begins with a fundamental question: where do LGBTQI+ young people go when they are rejected by their families and society, and where can they truly feel safe? Conceived as an intervention around the missing shelter for LGBTIQ+ people, this work aims to emphasize the urgency of creating safe spaces and to expose the ways in which even so-called moderate discourse produces violence, pointing out that when society fails to provide shelter, individuals are forced to create their own spaces, however fragile they may be. The artistic collective HAVEIT, composed of Hana, Vesa, Lola, and Alketa, invites us into a journey as morbid as it is silvered.
